Castril is one of the prettiest villages in our area and is a must to visit.

The drive through the Sierra de Castil will take your breath away, as you come down from the hills with the view of the village and church you will see a perfect equilibrium between rock and village.

As you walk through the old town, you will be amazed at all the pots of beautiful flowers, they are absolutely everywhere and if you wish to experience all types of artefact creations its worth while visiting the square called Plazuela del Cantón. Also there are lovely café bars and restaurant with panoramic views.

In the outskirts of the village, an unforgettable walk along the paths spreading through the canyon engraved by the river, will take you to a beautiful trek along the Castril Gorge with water falls to gaze at and caves to wander through.
