CORTIJO BUHO

If you are looking for a new experience, or something a little different, you need to visit Cortijo Buho.  You can spend time with owls, kookaburras, meerkats and lots more.   Cortijo Buho is a beautiful 11th century cave house where Laurence and Matilda are happy to share their experience and vast knowledge as you handle the beautiful owls and watch them fly.

This walking route is short, easy and spectacular. It is a walk that

the whole family can enjoy. The path mainly runs along a wooden footbridge over the Río Castril, with a suspension bridge and a tunnel. You will pass though beautiful natural landscapes and pass by the lovely town of Castril.

There is no better way to get to know the Andalucians than through their many and fascinating traditional festivals. The local fiesta is the moment when every town and village strives to put on a splendid show,

not only for themselves but also for those who come from afar to admire and enjoy.
